Brand Foundation
Kova Home
Premium home goods positioned to own the space between accessible and aspirational.
Kova Home manufactured bedding and bath textiles with a quality level that rivalled brands charging three times the price — but their brand looked like a mid-tier department store label.
We built a brand identity rooted in honest craftsmanship and quiet luxury — a visual and verbal system that made Kova feel considered and intentional without being intimidating.
The rebrand opened doors to stockist conversations with two national lifestyle retailers and gave Kova's DTC channel a conversion lift of 34 % as trust signals strengthened across the purchase journey.
Kova now occupies a distinct position in a crowded market: the brand that makes premium feel personal.

Before
A Brand That Communicated 'Cheap' Before Anyone Read the Price
Thin plastic packaging, a stacked sans-serif wordmark in navy blue, and product photography shot in a spare bedroom told shoppers everything they needed to know — incorrectly. Price comparisons with competitors were inevitable because there was no brand reason to pay more.
Messaging Borrowed from Every Other Home Brand
Words like 'cosy', 'luxurious', 'crafted', and 'pure' appear on roughly 80 % of premium home brand websites. Kova used all of them and none of them worked. Visitors couldn't articulate why Kova was different — because the brand never showed them.
No System for Stockist or Wholesale Outreach
Without a professional brand deck, consistent visual assets, and a clear market position, Kova's wholesale pitches to retailers stalled. Buyers couldn't see how the brand would look on their shelves or complement their existing range.

After
An Identity That Communicates Value Before a Word Is Read
We designed a refined logotype based on a custom letterform, a palette built around stone, linen, and deep teal, and packaging with embossed tissue and kraft details that feel intentional rather than expensive. The brand now reads as premium on screen and in hand.
A Brand Voice That Feels Like a Trusted Friend, Not a Luxury Brochure
Kova's new voice is warm, direct, and gently editorial — rooted in the belief that good materials and honest making are things worth talking about plainly. Customers now quote brand copy in their reviews. The message is landing.
A Complete Wholesale and Retail Identity System
Brand deck, shelf-ready packaging specifications, product photography direction, and retailer-facing one-pagers gave Kova everything needed to walk into a buyer meeting with confidence. Two stockist agreements were signed within three months of the rebrand.

“Our product was always good enough for the retailers we wanted. Our brand wasn't. Pixelain changed that entirely — and the stockist meetings started working.”
